Learner Profile

The development of the learner profile attributes are foundational to the Primary Years Program (PYP) and to students becoming internationally minded individuals. By developing the learner profile, students take ownership for their learning, express their ideas and opinions, and take action in an authentic and meaningful way. Students have a range of opportunities to develop, demonstrate and reinforce attributes of the learner profile. Opportunities arise through the transdisciplinary units, through interactions with others throughout the day and in specific subject areas, and through school events.
