My name is Nichola Dustin and I have been teaching PK at Charter Oak since 2009. I started teaching PK in 2006. When my son was very young, I earned my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Saint Joseph College. Before I had children, I taught Special Education for four years and after my son was born I taught Kindergarten for three years.
When I am not too busy with all of my teaching activities, I love to spend time with my family reading, gardening, swimming and walking (especially on the beach). I have three children. My son is in graduate school and my two daughters are both in high school. I have three rescue pets: a cat named Bimbo, and two dogs Topsy and Daphne. I named them after an English children's book about a cat and a dog called Bimbo and Topsy by Edith Blyton.
